Trails Day Scenic Hikes

Since 2013, Connecticut Trails Day is celebrated in the Valley with a guided scenic hike. Each year on National Trails Day, the Connecticut Forest & Park Association (CFPA) promotes hikes throughout the state. Known as "Connecticut Trails Weekend" the Trumbull Nature Center sponsors a Scenic Trails Day Hike in June.

Loop northward high along the ridge via the Red Trail, then down through the crevasse and back along the river.

Loop northward along the main Blue/White Trail, back along the Sandy Rim and then high along the Red Trail on the Ridge.

Loop across the Southern Ridge, through the Central Maze and back along the main Blue/White Trail.
