The Trumbull Trails Coalition (TTC) were invited to Trumbull Parks Commission Meeting on Jan 10th, 2011 at Trumbull Town Hall. At the meeting, Dmitri Paris, Park Superintendent, made it clear that his crew of rangers will take a more active role in fixing the larger areas of concern in the park. Much of the work will be conducted prior to the big spring melts.
The Rail Trail Connector in the North End has already been upgraded. The perpetual wet area on the Main White Trail (the gravely open space in the Serengeti area) is getting beefed up with a raised bed of rip rap stone and gravel.
The State will be upgrading the run-down kiosk in the South End as well. Stay tuned for further info...
