Pequonnock River Initiative: Watershed Info | Watershed Map
During the summer of 2010, the Pequonnock River Initiative (PRI) was formed as a partnership between the City of Bridgeport and the towns of Monroe and Trumbull to develop a watershed plan for the Pequonnock River watershed.
Pot Hunting, Looting, at the Indian Ledge Site
In 1992, a statement regarding the destruction of prehistoric remains excavated in the Indian Ledges area was issued to the local papers by the State Archaeologist's office . The story was picked up by the Bridgeport Post and placed conspicuously on the front page. (Full Story on Page 87 )
