Trout Brook (Aspetuck Land Trust)
Easton, Connecticut
Description
Trout Brook Valley (TBV)—owned and managed by the Aspetuck Land Trust—is actually composed of three parcels, the Trout Brook Valley, Crow Hill, and Jump Hill Preserves.
TBV is one of the best hiking and technical XC parks in the county. Most of the trails are tight twisty singletrack with technically challenging sections (loads of rocks, steep climbs, etc.). A great 12+ mile ride can be had by a solid intermediate or advanced rider. TBV offers a grueling 800' climb from the White Trail to the Yellow White Trail, one of the biggest climbs in Fairfield County. The park does offer some beginner trails as well on the Blue, Green, and White trail.
We recommend parking at the Bradley Road. lot. If that lot is full, please park at Elm Drive.
- The Park is closed Jan 1-April 30 and after heavy rain
- Please respect trails that are closed to mountain bikers
